Lisa Swanson

Lisa Swanson, a Massachusetts native, attorney and real estate broker, serves as Side’s Managing Broker of Massachusetts and California — working and living bicoastally. She brings ample experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts to the role.

Prior to Side, Lisa ran her own independent, boutique brokerage serving the San Francisco Bay Area market for over two decades. She also practiced law extensively in the fields of residential and commercial real estate and commercial law in California for many years. For seven years, Lisa served as in-house counsel for Unison.com, a San Francisco startup using equity-sharing agreements to finance home purchases and access home equity.

Lisa additionally holds real estate broker licenses in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Connecticut. She earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her law degree at Harvard Law School.
