5.1 surround sound
Side's 5.1 studio has been busy working on surround sound mixes for a variety of projects.
For the movie sequences for the interactive game of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" the engineer produced mixes in seven langauges using orginal motion picture footage while creating additional atmos and spot effects.
For Pia Getty's art film "China Power: Art After Mao", the 5.1 mix was created for private screening theatres and art galleries to showcase a host of contemporary Chinese art and audio installations. While maintaining the impact of the work, the mix also had to retain integrity for stereo broadcast on More 4.
Side also offers a service for up-mixing archive projects from stereo to 5.1.
